1. a. Disassemble warmer. Note location of all components and

mountings.

b. Mark wiring terminals. Disconnect thermostat and heating

element wiring.

c. Remove and discard components to be replaced.

d. Remove all electrical components from pot.

e. Clean openings in pot, being careful to remove all calcium

build-up and old sealant.

2. Loosen compression fitting on capillary tube bulkhead fitting of

thermostat. From the outside, insert thermobulb through

threaded fitting into the pot.

3. a. Slide three safety rings over thermobulb.

b. Attach thermobulb to heating element. With open portion

of the element at the bottom, the thermobulb must be

centered at the 3:00 position, and aligned approximately

30º outboard of the heating element.

c. Place one clamp approximately 1/2" from each end of the

thermobulb. Safety rings must be inboard of the clamps,

with one ring immediately adjacent to each clamp, and the

third approximately centered between the other two.

NOTE: Thermobulb mounts

ABOVE the heating element,

approximately 30º toward the

outside.

IMPORTANT:

1. Be sure three safety rings are

in place on thermobulb before

mounting bulb to element.

2. Route capillary tube under

element. Allow some amount

of slack in capillary tube

between thermobulb and

bulkhead fitting to prevent

stress damage.

3. Do not allow capillary tube or

thermobulb to contact heating

element.

4. Premature failure due to

incorrect installation is not

covered by warranty.
